Quality Control Inspector
Broussard, LA | $20–$25/hr. DOE | Broussard, LA
A Broussard company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to inspect parts, prepare inspection documentation, and ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:

Create dimensional inspection reports based on customer drawings, dimensions, and tolerances

Complete sign-off sheets documenting inspection equipment, tool numbers, calibration dates, inspector signature, and date
-
Generate Certificates of Compliance when required
-
Perform dimensional inspections according to customer prints and specifications
-
Conduct thread inspections using Go/No-Go gauges, hardened gauges, Gagemaker, and other inspection equipment
-
Identify and forward non-conforming parts to management for deviation requests
-
Inspect incoming materials according to purchase orders
-
Assist with staging materials for machining and subsequent processes
-
Deburr parts, mill work, and threads
-
Clean and degrease parts and lightly oil carbon steel products
-
Properly protect finished parts using socking, bubble wrap, thread protectors, and other materials
-
Wrap pallets with plastic wrap and metal-band tubular products to pallets
-
Load and unload trucks
Requirements:
-
Previous quality control or inspection experience preferred
-
Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications
-
Experience with dimensional inspection tools and gauges
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to document inspection results accurately
-
Ability to safely handle materials and assist with shipping/receiving duties
