Our client is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic!
Job Duties:
- Perform all phases of machine and facilities maintenance.
- Identify and repair mechanical problems quickly and effectively.
- Ability to multi-task
- Maintain a sufficient parts inventory for machines and facilities to ensure efficient repairs.
- Maintain an orderly and effective purchasing order file.
- Receive, stock, and inventory all incoming maintenance items.
- Track and schedule company vehicle for repairs and maintenance.
- Perform ground maintenance.
- Run errands with company vehicle
- Build/setup/relocate facility equipment.
- Equipment setup/change over to comply with production requirements.
- Comply with all documentation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Versed in the use of fabrication equipment
- Read and understand blueprints
- Welding of all type of various materials
- Forklift experience
Scheduling:
- Must be able to work up to a 40 hour scheduled work week
- Must be able to work any shift or overtime to maintain work schedules as required
- Available 24 hours per day for any security or fire alarm calls.
