Our client is seeking a Medical Coder!
The role of the Billing Specialist will manage billing processes and cross train all billing services provided across all programs.
Job Duties:
- Communicate with insurance company representatives.
- Verify insurance coverage.
- Interact with clients concerning outstanding balances and insurance issues.
- Prepare deposit entries into accounting system.
- Research outstanding AR balances, document findings, and submit appropriate adjustments when necessary
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; four years’ experience in an office or business reconciliation may be substituted.
- Experience in collections, credentialing medical providers, and EMR systems
