Shipping and Receiving Manager (DH)
Our client who has been serving the automotive industry since 1978, is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Manager to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Shipping and Receiving Manager
- 2+ years of experience managing shipping and receiving operations in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate logistics, and meet time-sensitive shipping deadlines.
- Expertise in inventory management, order processing, and resolving discrepancies.
- Proficient in ASN software, invoicing, and forklift operations to ensure efficient shipping and receiving.
- High School diploma or equivalent
What you’ll be doing as a Shipping and Receiving Manager
- Supervised a team of shipping associates and drivers, overseeing hiring, training, and performance management.
- Managed time-sensitive automotive orders using ASN software and customer service databases.
- Coordinated shipping deadlines with floor managers, ensuring efficient logistics and inventory accuracy.
- Oversaw invoicing, pack lists, staging shipments, and forklift operations for seamless shipping and receiving.
Additional information for the Shipping and Receiving Manager
- $60,000-$70,000 salary
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
- OT mandatory when scheduled
