Wire Harness Assembler
We are seeking a Wire Harness Assembler for our client here in Ann Arbor. Our client is a leading supplier of simulations software, systems and technical expertise for development and lab testing of complex control applications. Their system is used by customers in some of the most cutting-edge controls technology being developed in the Aerospace and Defense community.
Experience needed to succeed as a Wire Harness Assembler
- Hands-on experience with electronics or wiring — including assembling computers, installing car/home stereo systems, or working with custom wire harnesses
- Comfortable with tasks like soldering, crimping, cable stripping, and assembling connectors (professionally or as a hobby)
- High School diploma or equivalent
What you’ll be doing as the Wire Harness Assembler
- Read and interpret wiring harness diagrams and electrical schematics
- Assemble custom wiring harnesses to specification
- Strip cables, crimp pins, and assemble various types of connectors
- Solder wire-to-wire and wire-to-connector connections
- Document assembly processes and updates as required
