Shipping Team Member Job Summary: A national truck parts supplier is looking for a high energy "go getter" to work in shipping and join their team. Multiple positions are available on both first and second shifts. The Shipping Coordinator I is responsible for accurately pulling, packing and loading goods for shipment for an on-time delivery with oversight. This role primarily fills small parcel orders and customer pick-up (CPU) orders. This role involves communicating with internal teams, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations.
Shipping Team Member Responsibilities:
- Pull and verify orders with the highest quality
- Maintain 200 lines per week and assessed by performance measures of fill rate and accuracy rate.
- Wrap orders and prepping stock to ship
- Storing and pulling materials in the warehouse
- Assist with regular cycle counts or stock audits as needed to maintain inventory accuracy
- Loading and unloading trucks as well as move stock with sit down forklift
- Computer work
- Working with FedEx and UPS as well as world ship software
- Receiving inventory and follow inventory guidelines
- Operation of pallet jack
- Wrap to ship per customer's requirements
- Assisting throughout the whole shipping/receiving department
- Ability to lift heavy loads individually and with a teammate for heavier loads
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday, $18.00/HR
- 2nd shift, 5:00pm-1:30am, Monday - Friday, $19.00/HR
- Overtime as required
Shipping Team Member Qualifications:
- Shipping and receiving experience is a plus
- Computer skills
- Lifting up to 70 lbs
- Able to wear multiple hats and shift gears quickly
- Computer experience and the ability to enter details from paper to the computer
- High attention to details
- A diploma/GED or related experience is required
