Embroidery Machine Operator Job Summary: A local Grand Rapids based company that is fast-growing of custom-branded apparel and promotional products for businesses, schools and organizations. They are seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator with a strong background in Tajima multi-head embroidery machines.
Embroidery Machine Operator Requirements:
- Operate Tajima Multi-head Embroidery Machine
- Read and interpret embroidery design files (DST,EMB) and work orders
- Prepare garments (hooping, stabilization, thread matching)
- Preform routine maintenance, minor troubleshooting, and thread/color changes
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday plus OT as needed
- $22.00-26.00/DOE
Embroidery Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- strong knowledge of embroidery techniques, materials and finishing standards
- minimum 5 years of Tajima Multi-head Embroidery Machine required
- Basic computer skills for machine interface and embroidery file management
