Temporary Customer Care Specialist Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented E-commerce Customer Care Specialist to join our team for the launch of our new online B2B customer portal. You will be on the front lines, providing exceptional service to our Dealer network across multiple inbound channels, including phone and email. The ideal candidate is patient, has excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to creating positive support experiences. This is not a sales role.
Temporary Customer Care Specialist Responsibilities:
- Customer inquiries: Respond to customer questions via phone and email regarding the new e-commerce platform
- Technical support: Guide customers through the new site including first-time login, site navigation, and account maintenance. Help troubleshoot technical issues they may encounter and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary
- Order Processing & Management: Assist customers with the ordering process, managing existing orders, tracking shipments, viewing/paying invoices, and processing returns through our new e-commerce platform
- Conflict resolution: Professionally handle customer complaints and de-escalate situations involving dissatisfied dealers to maintain a positive brand reputation
- Information management: Accurately document all customer interactions, feedback, and case resolutions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Product knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the products, services, and policies relevant to the e-commerce site to provide accurate and knowledgeable answers
- Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as warehouse, shipping, and billing, to hand-off customer questions and issues beyond the scope of the new website to ensure a smooth and timely resolution.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm
- $21.00/HR
Temporary Customer Care Specialist Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or e-commerce role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent phone etiquette
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Commerce Cloud) and CRM software (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce) is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn new software applications quickly and efficiently is a must
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to problem-solve and maintain a positive, empathetic attitude
