NOW HIRING: Sheet Metal & Piping BIM/CAD Operator
We are actively seeking a talented BIM/CAD Operator to join a leading mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in 3D modeling, mechanical drafting, and BIM coordination for commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed HVAC system layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Produce accurate shop drawings and installation plans for field teams
- Coordinate with other trades using clash detection tools and participate in model reviews
- Ensure consistency with drawing standards and documentation requirements
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to identify and resolve design conflicts
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC drafting, CAD, or BIM coordination
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP coordination, and construction practices
- Familiarity with plumbing and piping systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000 – $100,000, based on experience

This position will require initial on-site training at our client’s Southeast Minnesota location. After training is successfully completed, a hybrid work model may be available.
