Warehouse Manager

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations across both the primary production warehouse and an off-site frozen storage facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining inventory accuracy, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

 

The Warehouse Manager will work closely with Production, Scheduling, Transportation, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Human Resources to ensure efficient operations, exceptional customer service, and the successful achievement of company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors, team leads, drivers, and warehouse personnel to achieve safety, quality, service, and productivity goals.
  • Establish clear performance expectations while holding team members accountable for safety, attendance, quality, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, product storage, material handling, product rotation, and order fulfillment across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain high standards of warehouse organization and product integrity.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to support production schedules, customer requirements, and business objectives.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with all company policies, food safety regulations, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse operations within manufacturing, food production, distribution, or cold storage environments.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, logistics, and material handling.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, coach, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
