Painter
Rochester, MN
1st Shift: 6:30am – 3pm w/ OT Available
Pay: $27.90/hour
Job Duties:
- Perform assembly inspections and audits per written or verbal instructions.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications, inspect and accurately record results.
- Identify non-conforming products and notify appropriate personnel.
- Maintain applicable records and file daily.
- Select and properly use appropriate inspection equipment.
- Train and assist others.
- Communicate with management, associates, and fellow inspectors to solve problems.
- Follow up on customer complaints and confirm corrective actions as directed by management.
- Interact with customers and suppliers.
- Use computers and electronic data collection equipment.
- Use audit methods, documentation systems, and checklists to assure the quality of the product.
- Support complete PPAP and first article requirements.
- Report labor and job data accurately.
- Maintain quality, safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
- Inspect the piece and purchase parts and fill out hold tag and DMR paperwork.
- Support paint line inspection as needed.
- Perform other duties within the department or plant as required by supervision.
Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
