CNC Plasma Operator – 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Pay: $18/hour + based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable CNC Plasma Operator to join a reputable manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC plasma equipment to produce high-quality metal parts while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC plasma tables and related machinery

Cut, trim, and shape metal parts using plasma equipment, saws, and other shop tools

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine specifications and setup requirements

Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances

Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications

Document critical measurements throughout the production process

Perform routine quality checks and follow required checklists

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
-
2–4 years of experience in a machine shop or similar manufacturing environment preferred

Experience with CNC plasma tables and press brake equipment required

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately

Strong basic math and computer skills; comfortable with machine control panels

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus

Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated

Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities is preferred

High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Capable of handling materials with the use of lifting tools and equipment

Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
