Job Full Description
Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Mon-Thurs 3pm-1am
$18-$28 (based on experience)
(The first 90 days of training may require a split shift)
Job Duties:
-
Operate CNC machinery and related shop equipment, making adjustments as needed

Load programs, tools, and materials into machines

Read and interpret blueprints to determine part dimensions and specifications

Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines
-
Start, monitor, and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions and make corrections
-
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify conformance to specifications
-
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts using overhead cranes or other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-
Perform heavy lifting and remain in constant motion throughout the shift
Preferred Qualifications:
-
1–2 years of machining experience (CNC and/or manual)
-
Experience with manual lathes, drill presses, and saws a plus
-
Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
-
General mechanical aptitude
-
Manual machinist experience preferred
MUST have experience with calipers & micrometers
