Job Full Description
Saw Operator - 2nd Shift
- Monday - Friday 2:30pm-1:00am
- Up to $18-23 per hour-based on experience
Shop duties include:
- Operates on or more single or multiple blade circular saws to cut wood and wood products to specified lengths
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Examines material prior to cutting to determine what cuts will remove defects and produce maximum footage
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of related experience or training
- General mechanical aptitude
