Express Employment is recruiting a Payroll & Benefits Specialist for a local company in Lewiston.
In this role as a Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Maintain payroll data by ensuring hours worked are recorded properly for payroll processing.
- Processes payroll biweekly for over 300+ employees with HRIS software
- Oversee employment verification, unemployment audits and wage garnishments
- Administer day to day activities with group benefit programs
- Educate employees on benefit eligibility and benefits
- Administer new co-worker benefit orientation
- Administer FMLA, company leave policies and worker’s compensation claims
