Are you a welder, machinist, or maintenance technician, etc. who’s ready for a career change — but not ready to leave the skilled trades world behind? Express Employment Professionals in St. Louis is looking for a Skilled Trades Employment Specialist who thrives on building relationships, connecting great people to great work, and driving new business.
This is not an HR role — it’s a sales hunter position for someone who understands the trades, speaks the language of the shop floor, and wants to grow into a professional career in recruiting and business development.

What You’ll Do

Hunt for New Business: Build relationships with manufacturing and skilled trades companies across the St. Louis area.

Source & Match Candidates: Recruit welders, machinists, and maintenance techs, etc. then match them to client needs.

Sell Staffing Solutions: Present Express’s value to decision-makers and help companies solve hiring challenges.

Coordinate Placements: Manage interviews, onboarding, and follow-ups to ensure successful placements.

Own Your Territory: Prospect daily, follow up on leads, and grow your book of business.
