About the Opportunity
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Entry to Advanced MIG/TIG Welders for multiple fabrication and manufacturing companies in St. Louis City and North County. These are hands-on roles working with steel, stainless, aluminum, and production or custom fabrication environments. Positions are temp-to-hire through Express.
What You’ll Do
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel, stainless, or aluminum depending on skill level
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders
- Fit, assemble, and fabricate components
- Set up and adjust welding equipment for material and job type
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
- Maintain safe work practices and follow shop standards
- Support production, fabrication, or repair projects as assigned
What You Bring
- Experience in MIG or TIG welding (entry through advanced skill levels welcomed)
- Ability to pass a weld test based on client requirements
- Familiarity with fabrication tools, grinders, torches, and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in weld quality
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a shop environment for a full shift
Nice-to-Haves
- Advanced TIG experience (stainless/aluminum)
- Blueprint and layout experience
- Welding certifications or formal training

MIG welders, TIG welders, fabrication tools, grinders, hand tools, fixtures, jigs, measuring equipment, safety gear.
