Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Lawn Care Crew Member to join one of the crews with a well-known local lawn care company. This company prioritizes culture fits and is looking for candidates that are self-starters, dependable, and team players. This is a day shift, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with pay ranging from $18-30/hr depending on experience!
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the beauty of client landscapes and green spaces through lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, pruning, etc.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas after each job
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Skills/Experience:
- Applicants must have been employed in their most recent position for a minimum of 1 year in order to be considered for this position
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, pest control, or a related field preferred
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to collaborate and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
- High attention to detail with a positive attitude
Schedule/Pay:
- Monday through Friday from 7:30am – 6:00pm (or until jobs are completed)
- Potential overtime required, especially if jobs have been delayed due to inclement weather
- Pay between $18-30/hr depending on skills, experience, education, certifications, etc.
- Employees paid weekly!
