Do you have basic automotive and wrench-turning experience? Have you been looking for an opportunity to expand your skillset and learn a more specialized part of the automotive industry?
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Automotive Repair Technician to join a small automotive repair company located in Lincoln, NE. The successful candidate for this role will be dedicated, motivated, and willing to learn new things. This company prioritizes customer satisfaction and providing high-quality service, so being a detail-oriented team player is a must! This is a day shift, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with pay up to $20/hr and the potential to turn into a long-term career!
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work under mentorship from senior technicians to learn specialized automotive repairs including complex diagnostics, glass installation, etc.
- Routine automotive inspections and maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, etc.
- Communication with customers to identify concerns, diagnoses, recommended services, and repair statuses
- Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Education/Skills:
- Candidates must have work in their most recent role for a minimum of 1yr in order to be considered for this position
- Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude required
- Familiarity with basic hand/power tools required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Preference given to candidates with some experience in a related role within the automotive industry
- High attention to detail and precision required
- Punctual, motivated, and willing to learn new things
Schedule/Pay:
- This is a day shift, Monday through Friday position
- Pay up to $20/hr
- Employees paid weekly!
