Do you have experience in electrical or facilities maintenance? Are you interested in working within a rapidly growing and changing industry with lots of potential for growth?
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a company in Kearney, NE to fill a Facilities Maintenance role. The ideal candidate for these roles will have a strong mechanical aptitude and previous experience with troubleshooting and repairs. This is a day-shift, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with pay up to $21/hr.
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical components such as breakers, extension cords, etc.
- General facilities and structural maintenance including repairs and/or replacements of door frames, siding, air filters, etc.
- Basic heavy equipment maintenance such as tire changes and changing attachments on forklifts, telehandlers, etc.
- Documentation of completed maintenance tasks in company systems • Upkeep of inventory databases for all tools, equipment, PPE, etc.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of all working areas throughout the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- 1-3+ years of workforce experience in an electrical or facilities maintenance role
- Previous experience with troubleshooting electronics required
- Must have experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, etc.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Preference given to candidates with additional education or credentials related to electronics, technology, etc.
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a close-knit team environment
Schedule/Pay:
- Monday through Friday, day shift
- Pay up to $21/hr depending on skills, experience, education, and qualifications
- Employees paid weekly!
