Express Employment Professionals is assisting a well-known company in their search for a Procurement Coordinator. The successful candidate for this role will have several years of related experience and must be willing to fit within a well-established and high-performing team. This is a day shift, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with the potential to turn into a long-term career.
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sourcing products that meet customer specifications for quality
- Preparation of proposals, quotes, or estimates for products and materials
- Monitoring costs and ensuring purchases fall within budget guidelines
- Preparation of purchase orders and other documentation
- Maintaining accurate internal databases and systems
- Work across departments to ensure timely results and high customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Education/Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field required
- High computer proficiency with revious experience working with Oracle required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Substantial knowledge of procurement processes, standards, and best practices required
- Basic knowledge of financial terminology and principals required
- Highly detail-oriented and able to handle a variety of tasks at a time
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties n order to meet deadlines across several projects at once
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active listening skills and a desire to build relationships
Schedule/Pay:
- 1st shift, Monday through Friday
- Pay dependent upon skills, experience, education, etc.
- Employees paid weekly!
