Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee the central Nebraska region. The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience within the agricultural or industrial sector and will be curious, dedicated, and willing to help where needed. This is a direct hire role with base pay and the potential for substantial commission/bonus earnings. This employee must be located in the Grand Island/Kearney area. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversight of central Nebraska sales territory running from Seward to Lexington
- Following up with existing customers both in-person and via phone to discuss needs, process orders, answer questions, etc.
- Demonstrate product knowledge, understanding of available product offerings, products specs, etc. on catalogue spanning 2,000+ products
- Cold calling, lead generation, and making connections with potential new business
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Education/Skills:
- Substantial previous sales experience in an industrial or agricultural setting required
- Natural curiosity and drive to master products and related knowledge, research new products, etc.
- Willingness to step in and assist where needed in order to help the team achieve goals
- Dedicated, focused, and able to work with minimal supervision
Schedule/Pay:
- Monday through Friday, day shift hours
- Frequent overnight travel is required (1-2x per week)
- Base pay of $55,000/yr with potential for substantial performance-based commission and bonuses (avg. $85,000/yr total compensation)
- Mileage and expenses reimbursed on a monthly basis
- $350 draw available and will be deducted from final paycheck upon departure from the role
