Do you have experience with installations in a construction setting? Do you have an eye for detail and completing high quality projects?
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Construction Installation Technician to join a local company. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong construction background and be able to diagnose issues prior to completing requested updates. This position will require daily travel around the Lincoln, NE area using a company-provided vehicle. This is a day shift opportunity with pay up to $27/hr.
Position Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
- Delivery and installation of various fixtures including windows, frames, trim, doors, hardware, scaffolding, etc.
- Evaluate job requests and diagnose issues with existing structures, fixtures, and features.
- Other duties as assigned
- Loading and unloading materials on job sites equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, etc.
- Maintain inventory records and report issues with parts such as breaks, damage, defects, etc.
- Update job records and other appropriate paperwork with details of work completed
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Skills:
- 1+ year of experience in a construction, installation, or related role required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required in order to operate company-provided vehicle
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for providing top-notch customer service
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to solve problems and make adjustments to projects
- Able to manage time and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Schedule/Pay:
- 1st shift hours, Monday through Friday
- Potential evening and/or weekend overtime required
- Daily travel around Lincoln, NE required with a company-provided vehicle
- Pay up to $27/hr
- Employees paid weekly!
