Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Quality Assurance Technician for a leading manufacturing company in Waverly, NE. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits.
Perform inspection of products to meet Quality Standards and provide administrative support for the internal Quality Management System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Production Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of products to meet Quality Standards and provide administrative support for the internal Quality Management System.
- Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications and company’s quality control system.
- Measure products as instructed as instructed by QIP, using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other inspection fixtures and instruments.
- Perform first piece inspections per written instructions.
- Inspect in-process samples per established schedule to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist technicians and operators in interpretation of QIP and samples to determine acceptability.
- Maintain accurate records
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Document accurate, factual information on QA log sheets and records.
- Document rejects and evaluation of cause.
- Notify Cell Manager of reject and quality issues status
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Adjust QIP based on Management directions.
- Create new QIP based on Management directions.
- Monitor change for impact on inspection or product quality
- Setup and perform test on incoming raw materials as directed.
- Flexibility of hours to meet production demands.
General Responsibilities
- Actively participate in company’s Quality Management System.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment following safety procedures and policies.
- Actively communicate with all team members as needed.
- Comply with work requirements related to attendance and notice of absence, general conduct and following work instructions.
- Monitor and communicate material needs to support normal production activity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule/Pay:
- 1st shift hours, Monday through Friday
- Pay $18/hr
