Job Full Description
Are you an experienced welder looking to grow your career in manufacturing or construction? Express Employment Professionals is hiring MIG Welders, TIG Welders, and Fabricators for multiple companies in and around Lincoln, NE. These are full-time, evaluation-to-hire positions with long-term potential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate metal structures and components using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques
- Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Use plasma cutting equipment to cut metal pieces to spec
- Solder or braze metal parts as needed
- Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication tools
- Support team goals and complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience as a welder or fabricator in a manufacturing or construction setting required
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, or both
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Schedule & Pay:
- Positions available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
- Pay based on experience and skill level
- Weekly pay
