Job Type: Evaluation-to-hire
Shift: Flexible part-time hours between 7:00am-5:00pm, (maximum 30 hours per week)
Lunch: Flexible, maximum 1 hour
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Logistic Support – Expeditor to join the Supply Chain Department of a Hastings, NE company. This company serves industries including manufacturing and agriculture, and this part‑time role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, customer service focus, and a background in logistics, dispatching, or forklift operations.
As a Logistic Support - Expeditor you will play a critical role in ensuring timely supplier communication, purchase order management, and KPI reporting. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a permanent staff role.
Responsibilities
- Run daily reports and issue open PO reports to suppliers
- Communicate directly with U.S. and international suppliers for expediting and status updates
- Issue RFQs to support Buyers as needed
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
- Purchase C-Class and MRO items to support Buyers
- Ensure compliance with company safety, integrity, and ethics policies
- Follow all Supply Chain procedures and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
- 3–5 years of related experience in purchasing or logistics role preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Basic data analysis skills required
- Ability to thrive in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated urgency and responsiveness to business needs
