Position: Reception / Office Support
Location: Murdock, NE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Up to $20/hr
Express Employment Professionals is assisting a Murdock, NE company in their search for a Receptionist. This role is an essential part of this company's front office operations. The successful candidate for this job will be a dependable, friendly, and detail‑oriented individual who is able to support administrative and clerical functions.
This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to learn. We are looking for candidates with experience in any of the following areas: reception, front desk operations, office associate, office assistant, medical receptionist, hotel front desk staff, administrative assistant, or clerical support.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist customers as the first point of contact
- Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system
- Assess customer needs and provide excellent service
- Learn and utilize the established inventory and order management program
- Support the sales team with order processing, payments, and receipts
- Generate shipping documents, labels, and tracking information
- Maintain and update customer databases
- Add new clients and properly categorize existing accounts
- Perform general filing and clerical duties
- Provide administrative support across departments
- Cross-train in various office functions
- Assist with special projects as assigned by your supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and QuickBooks required
- Previous customer service experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Agricultural background or related work experience preferred
- Strong communication and math skills
