Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled SolidWorks/CAD Designer to join a well-known manufacturing company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift opportunity with pay up to $27/hr. Ideal candidates for this position will have previous experience with drafting and design and will be dependable and reliable team players. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with the potential to turn into a long-term career!
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Utilize SolidWorks or CAD to produce shop drawings and/or models based off of blueprints, specifications, proposals, etc.
- Receive revision requests and make adjustments to work as necessary
- Adhere to predetermined project schedules
- Maintain drafting log
- Ensure that drawings and models are in compliance with industry standards
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Associates Degree in a related field required
- 2+ years of experience with SolidWorks and/or CAD required
- Autodesk Inventor experience is preferred
- Must be ale to read and understand blueprints and specifications
- Organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Schedule/Pay:
- Monday through Friday 1st shift hours
- Pay up to $27/hr
- Employees paid weekly!
