Assembler
Purpose:?
Perform assembly, packaging, shipping functions, and operate machines and equipment to fabricate parts for assembly, and sub-assembly of parts. Complete required paperwork.
- Put together and pack medical parts.
- Check parts with eyes or basic tools.
Fill out paper logs and print labels.
?Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform manufacturing assembly, sub-assembly, inspection, and packaging duties to assemble and ship medical devices following company policies and procedures.
- Operate machine set up with defined adjustments and notify supervisor of any problems
- Load/unload parts and cut/trim parts using established procedures and tools
- Inspect parts - visual and using basic gages (go/no go)
- Complete required paperwork, including labels, production logs, process results records, etc.
- Sustain and maintain organizational and cleanliness standards
- Complete material handling duties as needed to support production
Qualifications:
- Preferred 1 year manufacturing experience
- Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours at a time
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
