Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician for our client located in North Charlotte, NC.
Pay: $28/hr. 1st shift hours: 6am to 4pm/ Monday through Friday
Responsibilities of an Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician:
- Use basic and advnaced hand tools (gear pullers, honing/lapping tools, precision levels and alignment tools, etc.)
- Use basic and advanced power tools (hydraulic power jacks, belt lacing machines, mag drills, etc.)
- Drive a forklift
- Use lifting equipment (hoists, boom cranes, cherry pickers etc.)
- Must be able to provie a collection of standar hand tools for daily use and a storage container to secure them.
- Profeicency in machining, welding, fabrication, etc.
- Complete paperwork neatly and acuratley
- All other duties as asssigned by supervisor
Qualifications of an Industrial Maintenance Technician:
- 2 years of technical training OR 5+ years of related experience (REQUIRED)
- Basic PLC coding and programming knowledge a plus
- Experience in HVAC, compressed air, dust collection and electrical distribution are a plus.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others (written and verbally)
- Prior Lockout/Tagout experience
Physical requirements of an Industrail Maintenance Technician:
- MUST be able to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis
- MUST be able to withstand heat more than 95 degrees
- MUST be able to work in tight or confined spaces
- MUST be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop or crouch for extended periods of time
