Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Laser Operator for our client located in North Charlotte, NC.
Pay: $18.00/hr DOE.
Monday - Friday. 2nd shift hours. 1pm - 9pm
Responsibilities of a Laser Operator:
- prepare production equipment for operation by making the necessary adjustments and assisitine with equipment changeovers to ensure smooth transitions between production runs.
- Maintain quality standards by conducting first-piece and in-processproduction runs.
- Complete production control charts and analyzerecordings to ensure products meet customer specifications
- Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems; making equipment adjustments; production and quality data; reportig needed changes.
- Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures (equipment, raw and in-process materials, and finished goods); reporting changes if needed.
Requirements of a Laser Operator:
- Abiltiy to read and interpret technical drawings, routers and other production documentation
- Proficiency in basic math and measurments, including the use of hand-held measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate laser equipment safely and efficently while adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent
