Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a CNC Operator for our client located in North Charlotte, NC.
Pay: $21.00/hr.
Monday - Friday. 1st shift hours. 6am - 4pm
Responsibilities of a CNC Operator:
- Operates CNC machine.
- Masterpack data entry (scra, reloads, production)
- Material Handler responsibilities: stagingproduct into CNC loader based on WIP schedule. Wrap, label, and stage all completed product, remove and dispose of all cutout debris from machinery.
- Shipping duties: pulling , packaging, loading, scannnin, put-away of product.
- Operates forklift, power pallet jack or manual carts or pallet jacks to unload, move or store materials.
Requirements of a CNC Operator:
- Follows work instructions and pays attention to details.
- Achieves/performs daily targets and output of production.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- MUST be able to work required overtime as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications of a CNC Operator:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Able to read and write in English.
- Basic math skills with ability to perform basic math calculation, such as, addition, subtraction, multiplicatin and division. Plus, knowledge of fractions and decimals.
- Able to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oralm diagram or schedule format.
