Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a part-time opportunity in Durham, NC.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support our client’s day-to-day operations and ensure smooth order processing, shipping, and customer communications. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience working with distributors or resellers.
This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay range of $22.00-$25.00/hour, depending upon experience. Benefits are available while on contract. The schedule each week is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate the end-to-end shipping process—from placing orders to final delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone and email communication.
- Track and monitor shipments with vendors and logistics partners.
- Process sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices accurately using QuickBooks.
- Manage product inventory and ensure timely product reorders.
- Support order processing and assist in customer training as needed.
- Conduct follow-up calls to clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships.
Desired Qualifications:
- Background in distribution or reseller operations preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Solid understanding of shipping logistics and order fulfillment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
