Industrial Maintenance Team Lead
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6am-2:30pm
Salary: $23-25/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate maintenance on production machinery, forklifts, trucks, and other equipment.
- Manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to extend equipment life.
- Manage maintenance supply inventory.
- Participate in Safety Committee, training, and record-keeping. Stay updated on regulations and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and building key protocols to maintain security and mitigate risks.
- Manage maintenance schedule on trucks, trailers, and forklifts, ensuring DOT compliance and coordinating propane contracts for forklifts.
- Act as the primary contact for trash and recycling services, promoting sustainability through recycling programs.
Skills required:
- Hands-on experience in automotive, motor diagnostic, and repair, with expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting forklifts, trucks, and industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education required:
- Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, industrial systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Steel manufacturing experience is a plus +
