Job Full Description

OTR CDL Class A Driver - long haul freight across Southeast US Region.

• Driver earns consistent percentage of the freight cost @ 25% weekly
• Need 2 years-experience operating vehicles with gross weight (GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more)
• Experience driving flatbeds w/sleeper cab
• ensure safety/security of cargo, maintain vehicle records, adhere to federal regulations
• Be prepared to work long hours, often traveling for weeks/months at a time
• Enjoy higher pay and freedom to travel
• Habitually follow best practices to ensure safety and efficiency:
  • Pretrip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of your vehicle, including tires, brakes, and fluid levels, to identify any potential hazards. 

     
  • Weather and Route Planning: Always check weather conditions and plan 
    your route to avoid hazardous conditions. 

     
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly maintain your truck, including oil changes 
    and inspections, to ensure it is in optimal condition. 

     
  • Safe Driving Practices: Follow speed limits, maintain a safe following 
    distance and avoid distractions while driving. 

     
  • Emergency Preparedness: Prepare an emergency kit with necessary 
    supplies and ensure you are well-rested to handle unexpected situations.
