Job Title: Part-Time CDLA Flatbed Truck Driver – Local Route
Location: Monroe, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDLA Flatbed Truck Driver for a part-time local route position based in Monroe, NC. This role involves the delivery of concrete and plastic water pipes to various job sites and assisting in warehouse operations during downtime. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a flatbed tractor trailer to deliver concrete and plastic water pipes to local job sites

Verify loads against shipping documents and ensure proper documentation is completed

Safely strap and secure loads prior to transport

Unload materials at delivery sites, maintaining professionalism and efficiency

Adhere to all DOT, truck safety, and company safety protocols

Maintain clean driving records and follow proper driving procedures

Work in varying weather conditions and external temperatures
Warehouse Duties (as needed):

Operate a forklift for loading and unloading trucks

Perform general labor tasks, including consistent lifting of 50 lbs

Assist with palletizing, stocking, inventory, and pulling orders

Conduct dock work and maintain a clean, organized warehouse
Qualifications:

Valid CDLA license with at least 1 year of flatbed truck driving experience

Current DOT medical card

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed
