Job Title: Picker/Packer
Location: Matthews, NC
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
*This is a one month long assignment*
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our team in Matthews, NC. This position is responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, creating shipping labels, and disassembling circuit breakers. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:

Pick and pack orders with accuracy

Use a computer to check incoming orders and generate shipping labels

Palletize product and move it using a hand truck or pallet jack
-
Disassemble Product using hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches)

Ensure accuracy in reading and entering shipping information
-
Climb small step ladders (3–4 steps) as needed to retrieve inventory

Lift and move items weighing 10–20 lbs.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Take initiative and complete assigned tasks promptly and professionally
Qualifications:
-
Previous pick/pack or warehouse experience preferred

Basic computer skills and ability to type and navigate systems

Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Dependable and self-motivated with a team-first mindset

Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
