Position: Quality Assurance
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our pre-production parts. You will be responsible for utilizing calipers and micrometers to inspect and sort parts, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and consistency. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to uphold our quality standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize calipers and micrometers to measure and inspect pre-production parts according to established specifications and standards.
- Sort parts based on quality criteria, ensuring that only parts meeting quality standards are approved for production.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
- Identify and report any deviations from quality standards or potential issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of equipment and materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout one shift.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with data entry and documentation.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
