1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM | $14.00/hour

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:15 PM – 11:15 PM | $14.50/hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator to join a local textile production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring warping machinery to create high-quality yarn spools used in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operating experience, excellent attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Prior experience in textile machine operation is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately place and attach yarn/thread from multiple spools (typically 20) onto the warper machine.

Ensure correct threading and alignment to prevent tangling or misfeeds.

Set up and operate the warper machine to wind yarn onto large spools with consistent tension.

Monitor the machine throughout the process to ensure proper function and output quality.

Visually inspect yarn for defects during loading and operation.

Verify that finished warps meet quality and production standards.

Tape and cut yarn after spools are fully wound.

Safely unload finished spools from the machine.

Transport completed spools to the appropriate staging or storage areas.

Quickly stop the machine in the event of a jam or thread misalignment.

Rewind and re-thread yarn as needed to resume proper machine function.
Qualifications:

Previous experience operating machinery is required.

Textile machine operation experience is highly preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Reliable attendance and adherence to shift schedules.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
