Location: Monroe, NC
Pay Rate: $22 – $32 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join a growing upholstery team in Monroe, NC. This role plays a vital part in the production of high-quality upholstered products, where craftsmanship, precision, and pride in your work truly matter.
As an Industrial Sewer, you’ll perform a variety of tasks including assembly, fabric matching, cutting, stitching, and stuffing cushions. Work is often divided into specialized areas based on your strengths and experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble upholstery components (approximately 80–90% of daily tasks)

Cut and match fabric and cloth according to specifications

Stuff and assemble cushions with precision and consistency

Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after sewing

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals and quality standards are met
Qualifications:

Experience operating industrial sewing machines is highly preferred

Familiarity with basic upholstery techniques (cutting, stitching, assembling)

Strong measuring and math skills for accurate pattern cutting and alignment

High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
