Aviation Buyer – Monroe, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $66,000-$68,000
About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Aviation Buyer to join a growing aerospace company in Monroe, NC. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing aircraft parts and components through Inventory Locator Service (ILS), ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure aviation parts and materials through ILS and other approved vendors.

Review purchase requests and identify the best pricing, lead times, and availability options.

Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and vendor agreements to maintain cost-effective purchasing strategies.

Maintain accurate purchase orders and ensure compliance with aviation standards and company procedures.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with maintenance and production teams to prevent shortages.

Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and repair stations.

Track orders, follow up on delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.

Support internal audits and documentation requirements for FAA and AS9100 compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:

2+ years of aviation purchasing or procurement experience.

Hands-on experience using ILS (Inventory Locator Service) to source aircraft parts.

Strong understanding of aerospace parts traceability, certification requirements, and documentation standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
