Job Title: Warehouse Equipment Operator – Hiring Immediately
Pay: $18.50
1st Shift
4 week assignment
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Warehouse Equipment Operator for a great opportunity with a local distribution facility. If you have warehouse experience or are looking to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll play a key role in daily warehouse operations, focusing on equipment operation, inventory movement, and accuracy.
- Safely operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks
- Move, stack, wrap, and organize pallets and materials
- Perform equipment safety checks before use
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and locations
- Inspect products and pallets for damage or inconsistencies
- Apply labels according to customer requirements
- Assist with general warehouse cleanup and organization
- Follow all safety rules and procedures at all times
- Support team and supervisor requests as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Forklift or powered equipment experience is a plus
- Ability to use pallet jacks (manual or powered)
- Basic math skills (counting, simple calculations)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable attendance and good work ethic
Physical requirements:
- Standing and walking for long periods
- Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 60 lbs
- Bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing throughout the shift
