Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate - heavy lifting

Location: Monroe, NC

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

Hourly Wage: $17.00/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support daily warehouse and production operations by receiving raw materials, preparing finished adhesive products for shipment, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking. This position requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Receive incoming raw materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips
• Inspect and document shipments for quality and quantity accuracy
• Prepare finished adhesive products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and palletizing
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and/or pallet jack
• Move materials between warehouse, production, and storage areas as needed
• Accurately label products and complete required shipping documentation
• Enter basic inventory and shipping data into computer systems
• Assist production team with staging materials and supplies for manufacturing runs
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse and dock areas
• Follow all safety guidelines, especially when handling chemicals and industrial materials

Requirements:

• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Forklift experience required (certification preferred or willingness to become certified)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical warehouse duties
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping documentation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling and recordkeeping
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team-based, fast-paced production environment
• Commitment to following safety procedures, especially in a  manufacturing setting
