Warehouse Associate
Location: Stallings, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20/hr - $24/hr
Position Summary
An established commercial and residential construction supplier is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys organization, inventory control, and operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.
This assignment is expected to last at least one month, with the potential for long-term employment based on business needs and performance.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Read bills of lading and verify part numbers for accuracy.
- Prepare and prioritize customer orders for shipment.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
- Perform inventory data entry using Microsoft Excel.
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to read bills of lading and identify part numbers accurately.
- Basic Microsoft Excel and computer data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
