Auto- CAD Operator
Location: Indian Trail, NC Area
Pay: $24–$28/hour, depending on experience
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced CAD Operator to create permit and shop drawings for highly customized projects. This position works closely with project management, sales, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure drawings are accurate and ready for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create permit and shop drawings using AutoCAD
- Manage multiple drawing projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Prepare drawings for internal review and engineering approval
- Support the bill of materials process through accurate drawings and documentation
- Review and check your own work for accuracy before submitting drawings for final review
- Collaborate virtually with offsite engineers and internal departments
Requirements
- 3+ years of AutoCAD experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience creating detailed shop or production drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- SolidWorks experience is a plus
