Shift: 3rd Shift | 12-Hour Rotating Schedule (2-2-3)
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Lancaster, SC. This is a third-shift position working a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Job Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and piping systems within a manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime and supporting production goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine visual inspections and operational testing of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions by observing machine performance, listening for unusual sounds, and consulting with supervisors and production personnel.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Dismantle defective machinery, replace or repair components, and return equipment to optimal operating condition.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform preventive maintenance on bearings, shafts, gears, motors, and other machine components.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation.
Installation & Fabrication
- Install, assemble, and maintain material handling systems, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, valves, regulators, gauges, and related systems.
- Set up and operate machine shop equipment including lathes, grinders, drill presses, and milling machines to fabricate or repair components.
- Safely operate welding and cutting equipment to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installations.
Facility Maintenance
- Repair and maintain building structures and facility systems as required.
- Support plant improvement projects and general maintenance initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety training.
- Complete assigned work accurately and in a timely manner.
Additional Responsibilities
- Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance and production teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred; OR
- Completion of a technical school program; OR
- Minimum of five (5) years of related industrial maintenance experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

- Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain)
