Waste Water Treatment Operator
Urgent Hire
Day Shift Position
Currently seeking qualified candidates with waste water treatment experience for a full time, on-site position in a modern facility with a private energy company. The job is planned to commence the first week of April 2025.
Job Duties:
Operate, inspect, adjust, and monitor water processing equipment chemicals and controls to maintain the proper system performance required to treat contaminated groundwater and industrial wastewater at an energy company.
Collects samples and test water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater samples.
Uses computer-based maintenance management program as part of the workday; prepares basic reports and communications using computer programs, skilled in using Microsoft Office.
Requirements:
- Valid NC Waste Water Treater Operator License
- Mechanical operation and maintenance of pumps
- 3 years of WWT Experience and maintenance of equipment and pump -preferred
- Excellent math and chemical knowledge
- Thorough and detail oriented, honest and trustworthy
- Work independent and in a team
- Customer service minded
- HS Diploma GED
- WWT Certification Vocational/Technical training
- OSHA 10 HAZWOPER training and certification -preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Siting, standing, stooping, bending, walking frequently
Bending, twisting transferring
