Job Full Description
Currently seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector to join our client’s production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring product quality during active manufacturing—making sure all parts meet specifications, blueprints, and company standards. You will be both on the manufacturing floor, entering data, sharing deviation from ordered specs, and participating in sending out a perfect product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process inspections of manufactured products directly on the production floor
- Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Compare product dimensions and features against engineering drawings and specifications
- Accurately document findings in Excel and internal quality tracking systems
- Identify and report deviations, defects, or non-conformances
- Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues quickly
- Support continuous improvement by maintaining a clean, organized inspection area
Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour
1st shift
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret blueprints/specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting
- Comfortable working on the production floor and communicating with multiple departments
- Familiarity with basic measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges) and good at it!
- Associated Degree or above preferred
