Job Full Description
Do you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in a job well done?
Express is currently seeking applicants for Park Maintenance Specialist to help keep local parks, trails, athletic fields, and community space clean, and beautiful.
This is hands-on work where every day is different—you’ll be mowing grass, maintaining ball fields, repairing playgrounds, cleaning facilities, and making sure our community can enjoy the outdoors.
Pay Rate: $17.99/hour
1st Shift - some weekend hours required
What You’ll Do

Perform general groundskeeping and landscaping: mowing, trimming, trail upkeep, and tree/plant care.

Maintain and clean park facilities: restrooms, shelters, and playgrounds.

Prepare athletic fields for games and community events.

Perform light repairs (painting, fencing, plumbing, and more).

Operate equipment such as tractors, riding mowers, and power tools.

Help with special events, including setup and cleanup.

Ensure safety by inspecting equipment and park areas.
What We’re Looking For

Someone reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented.

Comfortable with outdoor work in all seasons (heat, cold, rain, etc.).

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience a plus.

Valid North Carolina driver’s license required.
