Sales Administrator – Manufacturing & Buying Groups

Pay: $15/hour

We’re seeking a highly organized Sales Administrator to support a buying group operation within a manufacturing-driven environment. This role plays a key part in connecting internal teams, suppliers, and buying group members while keeping data, communication, and programs running smoothly.

The ideal candidate brings strong administrative and sales support experience and is comfortable working in or alongside a manufacturing organization where products, pricing, timelines, and vendor coordination matter.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a primary administrative contact for buying group members, suppliers, and internal manufacturing and sales teams

  • Maintain accurate group and member data in Salesforce

  • Coordinate logistics and provide support for quarterly buying group meetings

  • Monitor purchasing trends and assist with reporting on volume, pricing, and overall group performance

  • Communicate product availability, promotions, and special programs, working closely with manufacturing and supply partners

  • Support pricing initiatives and assist with group negotiations under management direction

  • Ensure compliance with group agreements, contracts, and internal policies

  • Assist with onboarding new buying group members, including outbound calls, account setup, and introductory training

  • Prepare and distribute member updates, newsletters, and announcements

  • Manage ongoing administrative tasks such as updating marketing incentives, adding new members, and conducting annual Salesforce reviews

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, administrative, or coordinator roles

  • Previous experience supporting a manufacturing environment or working with manufactured products preferred

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience or in flooring, building materials, or related industries a plus ( Not just HGTV knowledge)

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
